I enjoy working for people and feeling like I may have in some way contributed to making someone’s life a little bit easier or a little better.
I believe that I am good at listening. Being a good listener is one of the most is one of the most important assets to have as an attorney. Lawyers can fall into the trap of too much talking and not enough listening.
I am a listener and an adviser. It is important for me to work closely with clients during unsettling and uncertain times, such as now with the pandemic, to make sure the lines of communication stay open and they receive fair representation.
My job includes representing young women and girls who have been the victims of sexual violence at school, hospitals, and other public places. It takes an extreme amount of courage to come forward when you have been victimized. The fortitude these young women and girls show is inspiring, and I find it fulfilling when I can be a part of any type of closure and justice for these brave victims.
I am a homebody and enjoy spending most of my free time with my family. I enjoy cooking and watching good (and some really bad) TV.
